Spaces in ORIA Reasoner
A Space keeps one piece of work together. It provides a consistent starting point with its own standing instructions and reference documents.
Purpose: Avoids re-explaining the context in every session. All sessions created within a Space inherit its instructions and support files.
Create one using the + sign next to Spaces in the left panel.
Space Fields
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Space name | The name that will appear in the spaces list (e.g., Q4 proposals). |
| What is it for? | Optional description displayed in the spaces list. |
| Standing instructions | Permanent instructions added to every session opened in this space. Defines how Oria operates (e.g., "Always reconcile to the general ledger. Report in USD."). |
| Reference files | Shared documents upon which the work is built. Uploaded only once, and all sessions in the space (including existing ones) can access them. |
Space Rules
- Standing instructions do not expand scope: Instructions modify Oria's behavior, but they cannot expand the data or tools a session can use.
- Retroactive files: Documents added to a Space are immediately visible to past and future sessions within that space.
When to Use a Space
