Session Tools in ORIA Reasoner
Click the + next to Tools in this session in the right panel to open the Session Tools dialog.
The agent can only see tools you enable here. Nothing in this dialog is on by default. If Oria says it can't do something, check this dialog first — the capability is usually present but not enabled for the session.
Two ways to find what you need:
- Search — the "Search tools, actions or nodes…" box filters across every tab at once.
- Recommend — describe what you're trying to do in plain language and click Recommend; Oria proposes the tools, actions, and MCP connections to enable for that task.
Internet Tools

Artifact Tools
Artifact Tools are what Oria uses to build something — a visualization, an application, or a working environment — rather than just answer in prose.

| Documents | Real PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel files, styled with your document design system and delivered as a download link. |
| Relationship Analysis | How entities relate — customers, suppliers, owners, referrals. Lays roles out as columns, ranks each side by a measure, and reads hubs, clusters, and disconnected groups as figures, not just a picture. |
| Work Boards | Kanban boards — where every item stands across the stages of a pipeline, with per-stage counts, WIP limits, and aging. Read-only unless a governed action exists to write the status back. |
| Time & Events | Timelines, Gantt schedules, and calendar heatmaps — what happened when, in what order, and how long it took, with span, gap, and duration analysis. |
| Live Apps (Vue) | A bespoke connected app built with Vue 3 and PrimeVue — Oria writes the components and ARPIA compiles them for you. For tools rather than charts: lookups, reconciliation views, form-driven query builders, multi-step explorers. Pulls fresh data from your session's nodes and Repository Storage. |
| Oria Machine | Lets Oria delegate multi-step coding tasks (reconciliations, bulk validations, scripts, transformations) to a governed coding environment — background execution with human-in-the-loop approvals, scoped to your session's nodes, MCP, and tools. Never touches platform source. |
| Repository Storage | Gives the exploration a persistent MySQL database of its own — for deep analysis and personal apps whose data isn't ready for the organization's ontology. Apps you build can read and write to it, and Oria Machine can too. It survives across sessions and can later be published as a tenant repository. |
| Image Studio | Generate and edit images from a description — marketing visuals, social and campaign assets, product mock-ups, illustrations and diagrams. Can also edit images already in this exploration. Generated images drop straight into documents and decks. |
Repository Storage is a two-step setup. Adding the tool is not enough — after adding it, open its ⚙ icon in Tools to create the database and attach it. Until you do, the tool is present but has nothing behind it.
Write-back is governed. Work Boards are read-only unless a governed Ontology Action exists to write the status back, and Oria Machine runs with human-in-the-loop approvals. Enabling a build tool does not by itself grant write access to your ontology.
Ontology Actions
Governed actions your profile is permitted to invoke against ontology nodes — this is the mechanism by which a session can write back rather than only read.
If you see "No actions granted to your profile," no actions have been granted to you. Contact your ARPIA administrator.
Admin setup required: Ontology Actions must be configured by your administrator. If this section is empty, ask your admin to grant action permissions on the nodes you need to write to.
MCP Collections
Internal ARPIA MCP / API collections that let the agent query integrated systems.
If you see "No MCP Collections are granted to your profile," ask your ARPIA administrator to grant you access to a collection.
Admin setup required: MCP Collections must be enabled by your administrator. If this section is empty, contact your admin — do not contact support or the ORIA team.
Connected Apps
External MCP connectors — third-party systems connected to your work-area.
If you see "No external MCP connectors are available to your profile," ask your ARPIA administrator to add a connector and grant your profile access.
Admin setup required: Connected Apps must be configured by your administrator. If this section is empty, contact your admin — do not contact support or the ORIA team.
Saving Your Selection
Click Save to apply your selections, or Cancel to discard them. Tool selections are session-specific — enabling a tool in one session does not enable it in another.
