Getting Started with ORIA Reasoner
Opening ORIA for the First Time vs. Later
First time opening ORIA: You land in an empty workspace. You must start a session from scratch.
Opening ORIA again: It automatically opens to the last session you had open — you pick up where you left off.

Tip: If you start by asking, rename the session afterward to reflect the question. Sessions are listed for later reference, and a clear name saves time when you come back to it.
The New-Session State
Once a session exists, the center panel guides you through setup with three Next steps cards:

| Add knowledge nodes | Pick what Oria may query. The picker includes an AI recommender. |
| Add tools | Web search, artifacts, institutional memory, connected systems. |
| Attach a file | Upload a spreadsheet or document and ask about what's in it. |
None of these is mandatory before asking. If you ask without configuring anything, Oria will tell you what it needs.
Making ORIA Your Landing Page
You can have ORIA Reasoner open directly after you sign in, instead of the ARPIA home page.
The Start in Oria? dialog offers this when you first enter.

This is not a one-way choice:
- The 🚀 toggle in the Sessions panel (top-left, next to +) switches the behavior at any time.
/?home=1always opens the classic home page, regardless of your setting.
Tip: Worth turning on if the Reasoner is where most of your work starts. If you regularly use Data Drive, Insights, or AI Apps Studio as well, the standard home page is the better default — you can still reach Oria in one click from the side menu.
